Word Lounge Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the mobile application Word Lounge: Multilingual Vocabulary & Grammar Learning ("Word Lounge" or "the app"). By using the app, you accept these terms.

2. Description of Service
Word Lounge is a mobile learning app for studying vocabulary and grammar between Turkish, English, German, Spanish, French and Russian, featuring flashcards, multiple-choice quizzes, grammar tests, games, listening/writing and challenge-a-friend modes. Studying, quizzes, games and grammar work offline; only online match requires a connection. Your learning data is stored on your device.
3. Account and Access
No account is required to use Word Lounge. In online match mode, only the nickname and room code you enter are used, solely for matchmaking.
4. Premium: Subscriptions and Purchases
4.1 Products and Pricing
Word Lounge is free to download. The optional Premium is available in three ways:
- Monthly subscription
- Yearly subscription (with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers)
- Lifetime Premium — a one-time purchase; it does not renew and you are not charged again
Premium:
- Gives you unlimited energy
- Unlocks all modes (listening, challenge a friend, online match)
- Doubles the coins you earn
- Unlocks all themes
Current prices are shown in the App Store and Google Play. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store (StoreKit) on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android.
4.2 Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your App Store (Apple) or Google Play account. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your store account settings: on iOS under Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, on Android under Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Deleting the app from your device does not cancel a subscription.
4.3 Free Trial
The yearly subscription includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and its price is charged to your store account. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
4.4 One-Time Premium Bought Before 2.0
Users who bought the one-time Premium before Word Lounge 2.0 keep lifetime Premium at no extra charge.
4.5 Restoring Purchases
When you move to a new device with the same Apple or Google account, you can restore your Premium entitlement using the "Restore purchases" option in the app.
4.6 Refunds
Refund requests are subject to Apple and Google policies. On iOS they must be submitted via Apple's refund request page, on Android via Google Play's official refund procedure. MFK Apps Studio does not process refunds directly.
5. Coin System
You can earn coins in the app by answering correctly, completing daily challenges, and similar activities; Premium users earn double coins. Coins can only be spent inside the app (e.g. power-ups such as 50:50, hint, skip, energy refills, and new themes). Coins are kept only on your device; they cannot be converted to real money, sold, or transferred. MFK Apps Studio reserves the right to modify or terminate the coin system at any time.
6. Energy System
Free use of Word Lounge is limited by energy. Free users have 10 energy; each quiz or game costs 2 energy, and energy refills on its own at 1 every 30 minutes. Flashcards, mistake review and the daily challenge cost no energy and are unlimited. Energy can also be refilled with coins; Premium users have unlimited energy. Energy is kept only on your device; it cannot be converted to real money, sold, or transferred. MFK Apps Studio reserves the right to modify the energy system at any time.
7. User Responsibilities
- Use the app in compliance with applicable laws
- Do not use inappropriate, offensive, or harassing nicknames in online match
- Do not share or resell the Premium entitlement without authorization
- Do not reverse-engineer, extract, or modify the app's source code
8. Intellectual Property
The Word Lounge app, its logo, design, source code, and content are the intellectual property of MFK Apps Studio. They may not be copied, distributed, or modified outside of personal use.
9. Disclaimer of Liability
Word Lounge is an educational learning tool and is not an official language proficiency or certification service. Some of the translation, pronunciation, and grammar content in the app is produced with AI assistance and may occasionally contain article, gender, or usage errors. Content is provided "as is." MFK Apps Studio cannot be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app.
10. Service Termination
MFK Apps Studio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time. In case of termination, users will be notified in advance with reasonable notice.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated periodically. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes arising are subject to the jurisdiction of the Istanbul courts.
