Word Lounge Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the mobile application Word Lounge: Multilingual Vocabulary & Grammar Learning ("Word Lounge" or "the app"). By using the app, you accept these terms.

2. Description of Service
Word Lounge is a mobile learning app for studying vocabulary and grammar between Turkish, English, German, Spanish, French and Russian, featuring flashcards, multiple-choice quizzes, grammar tests, games, listening/writing and challenge-a-friend modes. Studying, quizzes, games and grammar work offline; only online match requires a connection. Your learning data is stored on your device.
3. Account and Access
No account is required to use Word Lounge. In online match mode, only the nickname and room code you enter are used, solely for matchmaking.
4. Premium Purchase
4.1 Product and Pricing
Word Lounge offers a one-time (permanent) Premium purchase. This is not a subscription — it does not renew and you are not charged again. Premium:
- Removes all ads
- Unlocks all modes (listening, challenge a friend, online match)
The current price is shown in the Google Play Store. The purchase is processed through Google Play Billing.
4.2 Restoring Purchases
When you move to a new device with the same Google account, you can restore your Premium entitlement using the "Restore purchases" option in the app.
4.3 Refunds
Refund requests are subject to Google Play policies and must be submitted via Google Play's official refund procedure. MFK Apps Studio does not process refunds directly.
5. Coin System
You can earn coins in the app by answering correctly, completing daily challenges, and similar activities. Coins can only be spent inside the app (e.g. power-ups such as 50:50, hint, skip, and new themes). Coins cannot be converted to real money, sold, or transferred. MFK Apps Studio reserves the right to modify or terminate the coin system at any time.
6. Advertising
The free tier of Word Lounge shows a pre-quiz interstitial ad via Google AdMob. You can remove ads completely by purchasing the one-time Premium.
7. User Responsibilities
- Use the app in compliance with applicable laws
- Do not use inappropriate, offensive, or harassing nicknames in online match
- Do not share or resell the Premium entitlement without authorization
- Do not reverse-engineer, extract, or modify the app's source code
8. Intellectual Property
The Word Lounge app, its logo, design, source code, and content are the intellectual property of MFK Apps Studio. They may not be copied, distributed, or modified outside of personal use.
9. Disclaimer of Liability
Word Lounge is an educational learning tool and is not an official language proficiency or certification service. Some of the translation, pronunciation, and grammar content in the app is produced with AI assistance and may occasionally contain article, gender, or usage errors. Content is provided "as is." MFK Apps Studio cannot be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app.
10. Service Termination
MFK Apps Studio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time. In case of termination, users will be notified in advance with reasonable notice.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated periodically. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes arising are subject to the jurisdiction of the Istanbul courts.
