FireHop Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how user data is handled in the Android and iOS versions of FireHop — a firefighting puzzle game ("FireHop" or "the game").

The short version

FireHop collects no data from you. No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. The game plays offline from start to finish and your progress stays on your device. We run no server; nothing about you reaches us.

2. Data Collected

None. FireHop does not collect your name, email, location, contacts, advertising ID or device identifiers, and it sends no usage statistics or crash reports.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

  • Game progress: completed levels, stars, scores
  • Coins and depot upgrades
  • Settings: language, sound, notification preference

All of this is kept only in your device's local storage and is never sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the game.

4. Optional Features Provided by the Platform

The features below are run by Apple or Google, under your own account and their privacy policies. This data never reaches us.

  • Game Center (iOS): If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, your scores and achievements are sent to Apple under your Game Center nickname.
  • iCloud (iOS): If iCloud is enabled on your device, your progress is kept in iCloud key-value storage so it syncs between your own devices.
  • Google Play Games (Android): If you have a Play Games profile, your scores and achievements are sent to Google along with that profile.
  • Device backup (Android): If you have turned on Android's device backup, your game save may be included in the backup in your own Google account.

If you don't want these, you can turn off Game Center, iCloud, Play Games or backup in your device settings; the game still works in full.

5. Purchases

FireHop offers optional coin packs. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store; your card and billing details never reach FireHop. The game only learns from the store that a purchase went through.

6. Third-Party Services

  • Google Play Billing and Google Play Games Services (Android)
  • Apple App Store (StoreKit), Game Center and iCloud (iOS)

No other third-party service is used: there is no ad network, analytics, crash reporting, social SDK or attribution service.

7. Permissions

  • Notifications: Only for reminders to come back to the game. They are scheduled on your device, not sent from a server. You can decline or turn them off later and the game still works.
  • Run at startup (Android only): To reschedule those reminders after the device restarts.
  • Billing (Android only): For purchases through Google Play.

FireHop does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or advertising ID access. On iOS there is no tracking prompt (ATT), because there is no tracking.

8. Data Security

  • Your game save is never sent from your device to us
  • Communication with platform services (the store, Game Center, iCloud, Play Games) is handled and encrypted by Apple and Google
  • Card details never reach FireHop

9. Your Rights (KVKK / GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know whether your data is processed, and to access, correct, delete or object to its processing. Because we hold no data about you, you exercise these rights directly on your own device; you can always write to us for help.

10. Deleting Your Data

Uninstalling the game deletes all FireHop data stored on the device. You can remove the iCloud save under iOS Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Storage, and Game Center or Play Games data from the settings of the respective account.

11. Children's Privacy

FireHop is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children — it collects data from no one.

12. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page; the effective date reflects the latest version.
