Verdyn Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Verdyn: Phone Health mobile application (hereinafter "Verdyn" or "the app") collects, uses, shares, and protects users' personal data.

2. Data Collected
2.1 Automatically Collected Data
- Anonymous device identifiers (Firebase Analytics anonymous ID)
- Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID — user can reset)
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics — sent automatically on errors)
- Performance data (app speed, screen open time, ANR rate)
- Interaction data (which tests were performed, which screens visited — anonymous)
2.2 Locally Processed Data (Never Leaves Device)
The following data is accessed by the app but never leaves your device, is not uploaded to servers, and is not shared with third parties:
- Photos: Gallery is scanned for duplicate and blurry photo detection. No photo is uploaded or copied to any server.
- Location (GPS test): Only obtained temporarily during the test, displayed on screen, not saved.
- Microphone (microphone test): Audio is recorded during test and automatically deleted when test ends.
- Camera (camera test): Photos taken during test are automatically deleted when test ends.
- Files: Cleaner feature detects unnecessary files. No file is uploaded to any server.
3. Purpose of Data Use
- Providing app functionality (storing test results on device, managing premium subscription)
- Error reporting and performance improvement
- Personalized advertising (only for free users, via AdMob)
- Anonymous usage statistics (for app development purposes)
4. Third-Party Services
The following Google services are used:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring) — Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob (banner and interstitial ads) — Privacy Policy
- Google Play Billing (premium subscription) — Privacy Policy
Verdyn does not use any other third-party services (analytics, social media SDKs, attribution services, etc.).
5. Advertisements
Verdyn's free version displays ads via Google AdMob. These ads can be personalized based on user interests. You can disable ad personalization in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID.
You can remove all ads by purchasing a Premium subscription.
6. Data Security
- All internet traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS
- Sensitive data (photos, files, location, microphone, camera) never leave your device
- Premium payments are processed by Google Play; card information never reaches Verdyn
- Personal data is automatically deleted within 90 days (Firebase Analytics retention policy)
7. User Rights (GDPR / KVKK)
Under GDPR Articles 15-22, you have the following rights:
- Right to know whether your data is being processed
- Right to access your data
- Right to request correction or deletion of your data
- Right to object to data processing
- Right to protection against automated decision-making
To delete your data, two options are available:
- Automatic deletion: All data is automatically deleted by Firebase within 90 days.
- Manual request: Send an email to mfurkankckk@gmail.com with subject "Delete My Data" to request deletion within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
Verdyn is designed for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 18. If you are under 18, you should not use the app.
9. Policy Changes
This policy may be updated. Significant changes will be announced in the app and on this page. We recommend regularly checking the "Last updated" date.
