Stocky — Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 26, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Stocky, a pantry & nutrition app by MFKAPPS, handles your data. The short version: Stocky is local-first — your data stays on your device. There is no account, and the studio does not run a server that stores your personal data.
1. Data Stocky stores
The data you create in Stocky — your pantry items, nutrition logs, shopping lists, and spending records — is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to MFKAPPS, and there is no account to create or sign in to.
2. Data the studio collects
None directly. MFKAPPS has no server holding your Stocky content, so there is nothing for the studio to access, share, or sell.
3. Third-party services
Stocky may rely on standard mobile services that can process limited, mostly anonymized data:
- Google Play — distribution and, where applicable, in-app purchases. Payments are processed by Google, never by the studio.
- Firebase (Crashlytics & Analytics) — may collect anonymized crash reports and aggregate usage events to help fix bugs and improve the app.
- Google AdMob — where ads are shown, AdMob may use device identifiers to serve and measure ads, per Google's policies.
Each is governed by the respective provider's own privacy policy.
4. Permissions
Stocky requests only the permissions it needs to work — for example, your camera, so it can scan barcodes and nutrition labels (no photos are stored). You can review and revoke permissions any time in your device settings.
5. Your rights (KVKK · GDPR · CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since Stocky holds your data on your own device, most requests are satisfied directly by you — and you can always reach out for help.
6. Deleting your data
Uninstalling Stocky removes the data stored on your device. To request deletion of anything held by third-party services (e.g. Firebase crash data), email the studio and it will be actioned.
7. Children's privacy
Stocky is not directed at children under 13, and the studio does not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated as the app evolves; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
